Today the ship arrived in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Nha Trang is north and east of Saigon or what is now called as Ho Chi Minh City. At 11:45 I went to the Queens’s Lounge with my Luggage for the 2-night and 3-day tour to Siem Reap, Cambodia called "Angkow Wat Overland Adventure" to see the historical sites located at Siem Reap. About 45 people from the ship were on this tour. At 12:15 we left the ship for Cam Ranh airport. Cam Ranh airport is about 45 minutes from Nha Trang. After checking in and going thru security the flight left on 2:05 PM for a 1 hour flight to Saigon. The flight from Saigon to Siem Reap was supposed to leave at 7:50 PM for a 55 Minute flight to Siem Reap but it did not leave until 9:15 PM because they were waiting on a connecting flight to arrive. We waited at the airport and I ate a dinner provided by the airline line at a lounge in the airport after we cleared Vietnam customs and airport security. We arrived in Siem Reap and went thru customs, met our tour guide and got on a bus for about a 30-minute ride to the Le Meridien Angkor Hotel. The hotel was a very nice hotel and most likely the best hotel in Siem Reap. By the time I got to the room it was after 11:30 PM and I went to bed.

Siem Reap is the home for many historical sites built by the Khmer rulers from 900 years to 1200 years ago.
