World Cruise 2013

After spending the night in Sydney I took a tour called
“Discover the Blue Mountains”. The tour left at 8:30 AM and got back at 4:30
PM. We were the last bus back to the ship. On the way to the Blue Mountains an
awesome Grand Canyon-like rock formation among deep valleys and cascading
waterfalls however we did not see any waterfalls. On the way we stopped at the
Featherdale Wildlife Park where we saw a variety of Australian wildlife including
kangaroos, koalas wallabies, reptiles, Tasmanian devils, wombats and various
species of Australian birds. On the way to the Blue Mountains we passed thru
many small towns. We saw the rock formation known as the three sisters and I
took pictures of the views of the valley below. We left for lunch at the
Mountain Heritage Hotel and after dinner we returned to the same viewing site
that we had been before lunch to a Aboriginal performance of culture, art and
dance ant the Koomurri Aboriginal Centre. After the show we returned to the
ship.
